With seven years of experience, Chiara has a list of professional achievements including increasing user engagement, brand awareness, revenue, and overall performance for brands in a variety of industries. Chiara has a positive approach to her work and has a great energy, making her colleagues laugh and smile from the moment she gets to the office.

So let’s get to know Chiara and Meet Marble.

What’s your name?

Chiara Knapman

How would you describe your role at Marble?

As a User Experience Designer, I am responsible for designing and developing unique solutions to ensure our products meet our customers’ needs and promote financial health.

Who has inspired you the most when it comes to your approach to work?

When I first worked with a data science team, the head of the department really showed me the potential that data and design have to improve current systems. Since then I’m always considering if there’s a better way to create software that can provide curated experiences and solutions for our customers.

What’s your most notable achievement in your professional career?

My proudest achievements include helping lead product and design for 14 companies, raising $2M+ in investments and increasing engagement to 1M MUVs after a strategic 6-month marketing campaign.

What’s your go-to productivity trick at work?

When I start to lose focus, I like to break up my routine so that the change in task forces me to use a different approach, skill or mental effort to solution.

If you could give advice to your teenage self, what would it be?

Learn about financial literacy sooner!

If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Pizza – as long as I can switch out the toppings and sauces so there’s variety.

Do you have a secret talent that no one really knows about?

I have double jointed fingers.

Do you have a favourite family tradition?

My favourite family tradition is Christmas because it’s my parents’ favourite holiday so they go all out. The nativity scene is an integral part in the household and sometimes it becomes a mini village that takes up a good portion of the living room along with the Christmas tree. We send out invitations to our family friends for the 24th and on that day some of us go to mass while the others cook and prep for the big party. At around 11 pm everyone leaves, and we open gifts at midnight. Something about not having broken this tradition once is what makes it special to me.

Do you have a quote / mantra that you live by?

Life begins at the edge of your comfort zone.
